Congratulations to our first group of Invent-Her finalists. From dozens of submissions, these six groups were selected to pitch on November 28th, 2017. We're very excited to learn more about their remarkable work, and inspiring inventions.

Ojo Oro is a line of experimental and experiential cameras that merges the experience of digital and analog/film photography - unleashing a world of possibilities with the emergence of design, technology and photography. The current iteration of the camera has no screen, as a film camera wouldn't, and immediately sends each photo or gif that it takes, straight to twitter.

RaceYa makes awesome, customizable radio-controlled cars. The cars teach science and engineering through play, which parents love, and are super fun and fast, which kids love. But the cars are just the beginning: RaceYa aims to bring kids together through our digital community, where they can find curated content and new design challenges, share their experiments and customizations, and ultimately design and sell their own accessories and upgrades in the RaceYa marketplace.

Hylas is developing a smart food waste to renewable energy composter, which provides controlled renewable bio-gas for cooking and a nutrient-rich liquid compost fertilizer for home and local gardening.

*Our team is developing a playground solution specifically for refugee camps. It’s called "PLAY IN A BOX". *It comes packed with playful objects and activities for children to create their own games.
*Each box can serve up to 10 children at a time, ages 2-15 and costs 25$. *It’s low cost, safe, easy to setup and store and educational. And it has a community of educators and volunteers build around it.

The Ampere Solar Charging Bench belongs anywhere people want to plug in, relax, and see solar looking great in action, including campuses, parks, transportation waiting areas, outdoor shopping areas, and more. The advertising /information panel is a source of income to the business-to-business purchaser. It operates without connection to the electrical grid and can be set up without expensive, disruptive trenching. It provides light and security options.

We are creating easy-to-produce, easy-to-integrate and easy-to-use methods to incorporate technology into clothing. The e-textile components are designed specifically for the general audience who don't have prior engineering knowledge but seek an accessible way to integrate technology into their apparel design. The modular system is easily customizable, providing the user to design and play with many ideas. The components are easy to care for and can be machine washed as needed.
